Tom Sizemore: Hollywood Star Hospitalised After Health Scare

The Saving Private Ryan actor suffered a brain aneurysm around 2:00 am on Saturday and is currently in critical condition.

Charles Lago revealed to Fox News that the 61-year-old family knows his current health situation and hopes things get better.

Lago further revealed that someone in the house found Tom unconscious and dialed 911, who arrived at his home in Los Angeles to take him to a local hospital, where he was taken to the intensive care unit.

The actor has had his fair share of problems, including drug abuse and clashing with the police. He has been arrested for DUI, domestic violence, and possession of drugs.

The 2007 documentary Shooting Sizemore showcased his efforts to reclaim his life and career after being imprisoned for assaulting his ex-girlfriend and entering rehab.

Kiersten Pyked,26, filed a lawsuit against Sizemore in 2018, claiming he abused her when she was 11 during their time on Born Killer set. The actor denied the allegation, and the suit was dismissed.

Despite his encounters, he had an exciting career that has spanned over decades, and he's famous for his role as Tom Hank's co-star and sergeant in the 1998 flick Saving Private Ryan and as an Army Ranger battalion in 2001 hit movie Black Hawk Down.

Sizemore was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 2000 for his impeccable delivery in Witness Protection.

The actor was once again pulled over in January 2020 by the local police in Glendale, CA, around 2:00 am on Thursday on suspicion of getting behind the wheel under the influence.

Police then searched his car and found him possessing Narcotics, after which he was booked for a DUI charge. This marked his second arrest in six months for a drug-related offense.

During his 2019 arrest, the actor worked a plea deal involving staying clean and off drugs for a year to avoid getting behind bars. He seemed to go against the terms of that deal following his arrest in 2020.

In 2017, his then-girlfriend reported a case of domestic violence carried out by him on her. The actor allegedly abused her so much that neighbors had to call 911 to report the incident.

Sizemore got into trouble on set when he ran over a stuntman in 2016. However, it was tagged an accident which means the actor escaped facing legal charges.

After the actor was convicted of domestic violence against his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss, in 2003, he was sentenced to seven months in jail and four months in drug treatment for repeatedly failing drug tests while on probation on March 25, 2005.

Sizemore claimed that Robert De Niro set him on the path of sobriety after a close interrogation in a 2013 interview. De Niro also checked him into a rehab personally.

The actor has battled addiction since he was 15 and has owed many debts due to his lifestyle.

He was arrested outside the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Bakersfield, California, for possessing methamphetamine.

Sizemore is a man of many talents who has tried his hand at voice acting. He's the man behind Sonny Forelli in 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Windows.

Before this new development in his health, he posted a picture on Instagram. He was also scheduled to teach a weekly acting class on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Harvelle's Nightclub in Los Angeles.
