Nowadays, plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures are more popular than ever. Even more so among celebrities whose physical appearances are up for conversation via social media.
While many celebs like to keep their plastic surgery history private, there are plenty of others who have owned up to and been completely transparent about having gone under the knife to change their look.
Here are celebrities that have gotten candid about having plastic surgery.
Kourtney Kardashian went under the knife when she was just 21-years-old for breast augmentation surgery. She later admitted that she completely regretted her decision afterward because she knows they aren't permanent and she'll have to get them redone in the future.
“I wish I never did it. I had great boobs. Now I’m gonna have to get them redone at some point," she said.
Looks like the writers of Friends referencing Rachel's nose job wasn't too far off from real life.
Long before her debut on the sitcom, Jen had a nose job gone wrong after a baseball accident. She eventually had a second nose job to correct the issues from the initial one to reshape her new nose.
Speaking of the cast of Friends and nose jobs, Lisa Kudrow also underwent rhinoplasty before the show aired.
Lisa revealed that she got a nose job when she was 16 years old, and it was "life-altering".
By the age of 26, Cardi B has had numerous operations including "butt injections" that she admitted were administered to her illegally in somebody's basement years before becoming famous. She has also been candid about having breast augmentation surgery and liposuction.
The Hills star shocked fans after getting 10 plastic surgery procedures in just 24 hours. She later opened up about accidentally getting carried away and possibly taking things too far.
"I had to look at myself in the mirror every day healing, and be like, ‘What did I do to myself? How did I get here?"
Modern Family actor, Reid Ewing who played the role of Dylan, struggled with body dysmorphia on the show, and because of it, opted to undergo plastic surgery that he later regretted.
"I wish I could go back and undo all the surgeries," he wrote in a column for the Huffington Post. "Now I can see that I was fine to begin with and didn't need the surgeries after all."
High School Musical alum, Ashley Tisdale, underwent rhinoplasty when she was 18, due to her troubling nose.
"Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing," she explained. "I didn't do this because I believe in plastic surgery," said Ashley. "I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose."
Former Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco, revealed that she has no regrets about the breast augmentation surgery that she underwent when she was 19 years old. She even dubbed it "the best decision I ever made."
At the age of 24, Anna Faris decided to undergo breast augmentation surgery, taking her cup size from an A to a C. After that, she began dabbling in lip injections as well and has shared that both procedures have had a hugely positive impact on her confidence.
The comedian told PEOPLE that after two botched procedures, she realized plastic surgery was not for her. "I was told repeatedly, ‘You would be pretty if it weren’t for that nose. You’d work more if it weren’t for that nose. Hey, have you considered getting a nose job? You would think I had a nose the size of Texas."
"I was young and impressionable and I was told that enough that I started to believe it, so I got a nose job," she confessed. "What I can't figure out is why I wasted time worrying about my looks."
In late 2021, the former Beverly Hills 90210 actress revealed that she is having her "expired" breast implants removed and replaced with bigger ones that will actually look more "conservative" than her current ones.
"I want to be able to dress sexy but I want to be able to [be] conservative and not be, like, all boobs," she said.
"For me, everyone says, 'Oh my gosh, she's had her third face transplant,' but I've had one nose job," Kardashian revealed on the latest Keeping Up With The Kardashians series reunion. "And everyone gets so upset, like, why don't I talk about it. No one's ever asked me."
Additionally, on her talk show Kocktails With Khloe, she also confessed to having fillers resolved. "My face was so [expletive] I had to go and get this whole thing dissolved," she said. "It was a bummer and now I'm afraid to do it again. And I'm almost like, 'I swear things are still in my face.'"
The Dirty Dancing star once opened up about her "nose job from hell" that she has lived to regret.
"I’ll always be this once-famous actress nobody recognizes because of a nose job,” she said. "I went into the operating room a celebrity and came out anonymous."
At just 17 years old, Modern Family actress, Ariel Winter, revealed that she had undergone breast reduction surgery, taking her from a 32F to a 34D cup size.
"It's amazing to finally feel right," she said in an interview, adding that prior to having the surgery, she didn't feel her best. "I definitely seemed confident; I'm an actress, that's what we do. But on the inside, I wasn't feeling so happy."
Jamie Lee Curtis revealed she surgery to remove the puffiness around her eyes when she was in her 20s, but has since spoken out against plastic surgery.
