Amy Schumer is one of those celebrities who always keeps it real, which is incredibly refreshing. It feels like so many celebrities are so preoccupied with being picture-perfect mothers, wives, and women so it's just so nice when one of them is real with us — the people!

And do you know who is always real? Comedian and mom, Amy friggin Schumer.

As fans of this actress and comedian know, Amy has been real with fans about motherhood since day one.

For example, her turbulent pregnancy is something she documented for fans on social media and in her documentary, Expecting Amy.

Viewers saw how Amy battled her rare pregnancy condition, called hyperemesis gravidarum, and how she handled her c-section.

Spoiler alert — all that stuff was super painful for her!

Last year, Amy shared with fans that she had undergone hysterectomy after battling endometriosis for several years.

These days, however, Amy is thriving.

Recently, the 40-year-old showed off her post Endometriosis surgery body and was glowing in the process. "I feel good. Finally," she wrote on Instagram at the time.

It's clear she and her sweet two-year-old son Gene are growing and thriving together, which is all any parent can really ask for.

Now, Amy is sharing a rare photo of Gene and getting candid about that all too familiar feeling of mommy guilt.

"Being his mom is heaven on earth and also means a constant feeling of guilt and vulnerability I will never get used to," the comedian began.

"Your heart feels like it’s outside your body and you’re too old to drink the feelings away like you used to. When you were in love and scared."

"Send help!!!" she concluded.

Fellow famous parents weighed in on Amy's thoughts in the comments section, assuring the 40-year-old she wasn't alone in her worries.

"Omg it’s how I feel every day I drop him off at preschool," commented Amanda Kloots, who was speaking about her son, Elvis.

"Yep, that’s exactly how it is and feels. It’s beautiful and terrifying," echoed new dad Tan France.

It's so nice to see a community rallying around not only Amy but all us parents!
