Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are expecting their second child, sources confirm to Us Weekly. They currently have one daughter, Willa, who is 19 months old and absolutely thriving. And now, their family is getting one pair of shoes bigger.
Sophie is most famous for her role on Game of Thrones where she played Sansa Stark, and Joe Jonas for his highly successful boy band The Jonas Brothers.
They currently have a daughter, Willa, who is 19 months old. “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby,” the new parents’ rep told Us Weekly back in 2020.
“Willa isn’t a family name and isn’t short for anything,” another insider explained. “[It] is a name they had picked out a while ago before the baby’s arrival.”
But little else is known about the baby, as they make sure to keep her out of the public sphere.
“I’m so grateful to the two loves of my life for making me a mama @joejonas and my beautiful baby girl,” Turner had written on Mother's Day.
“They are really excited to expand their family,” the insider explained. “Having the baby has made them really close and want to have a large family together.”
After all, Turner had put paparazzi on blast for trying to take pictures of her child while she was out and about with Jonas. She called out their blatant disregard for the privacy of a baby.
"She is my daughter. She did not ask for this life, to be photographed."
In Turner's words, "It's [expletive] creepy that grown old men are taking pictures of a baby without their permission."
"I'm respectfully asking everyone to stop following us around and stop trying to take pictures of our daughter and especially printing them."
It must be so hard to be in the spotlight in Hollywood, let alone trying to shield your child from everything that comes with it. I'm sure she is doing everything she can to keep her daughter safe.
