One of the many things fans love about the one and only Kelly Clarkson is that she isn't afraid of honesty, transparency, and telling it like it is. Ever since she shot to stardom on American Idol, Kelly has been one of the most authentic stars in Hollywood.

Even amidst adversity and personal anguish, Kelly has kept a smile on her face, which is why I'm thrilled to announce the mom of two has finally settled her divorce from Brandon Blackstock.

In June 2020, it was revealed that Kelly Clarkson had filed for divorce from her husband of six years, Brandon Blackstock.

Kelly and Brandon had been together since 2012 and shared two children together, River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5.

The couple was also raising two of Brandon's children from a previous marriage.

The news of the split came as a surprise to fans, who had never sensed any trouble in paradise.

In fact, Kelly never shied away from opening up about the more private side of her relationship.

"This isn't a downer to anybody I dated before him, but I'm just going to be real: I never felt like, [honestly], sexually attracted to anybody before him," Kelly said about her husband back in 2017.

"And I'm not downing my exes. You know, everybody's different. But there was something about him."

"I honestly thought I was asexual -- I'd never been turned on like that in my whole life," she continued.

"I was like, 'Oh that's that feeling… OK! That's what they were talking about in Waiting to Exhale. I just got it. I just didn't have a clue."

It was later reported that Kelly cited the reason for the split as "irreconcilable differences."

Unfortunately for Kelly, the divorce was turbulent from the start. As fans may recall, the American Idol winner was being sued by her former father-in-law's company back in September 2020.

Then, it was reported that Kelly's ex was asking for over $400,000 a MONTH in spousal support.

$436,000 to be exact, according to People.

"Brandon's been equally unreasonable in his requests for child and spousal support, as well as attorney fees," a source told the publication at the time.

Now, after nearly two years of deliberations, Kelly is finally a free woman!

As reported by People, Kelly will pay her ex a $1.3 million lump sum, as well as a monthly child support payment of $45,601 for their two children.

In addition to those payments, Kelly has also agreed to pay her ex $115,000 in spousal support per month until Jan. 31, 2024.

Sorry, don't mind me while I pick my jaw up from off the floor!

"People" reports that Brandon will get the pair's "farm cattle, livestock, stock dogs, and horses," as well as multiple vehicles including a Ford F-350 and a Ford F-250.

He will also get an ATV, several CAT snowmobiles, a golf simulator and a couple of Patek Philippe watches.

As for Kelly, she will be getting the family pets, among other things, which I believe is the real win here!

The 39-year-old will also get multiple cars including a Ford Bronco, a Ford F-250, a Porsche Cayenne, and a flight simulator.

Back in August, a source told "People" that Kelly was getting stronger each day when it came to the split.

"She is doing great and facing forward," they explained.

"She's enjoying the fact that she has the kids for the vast majority of the time and is enjoying time spent with them."

We're rooting for you, Kelly!
