Shocking news from the Sheeran family, Ed Sheeran and his Wife Cherry have announced the birth of their second daughter without anyone having even known Cherry was pregnant to begin with.
It's a major shock to friends and fans alike, and an impressive feat that it was able to be kept secret for so long. Here's the first look at all we know about this new baby.
Musician babies specifically. Just yesterday, we got the news that Rihanna had given birth to her and ASAP Rocky's baby boy, but now we get another bombshell of an announcement from another talented pop star.
A simple announcement photo was shared with the singer's 38 million Instagram followers yesterday showing a pair of tiny baby socks on top of a brown woven blanket.
"Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x," he wrote, making hearts melt across the world.
They also married in secret, their wedding a complete surprise announcement back in January of 2019. They then had their first daughter, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, in September of 2020.
There was no announcement regarding her name or any other details, but seeing how private they kept the pregnancy as a whole, perhaps this isn't too surprising a move from the pop superstar.
The post was made in between clips of him rehearsing for a performance in Belfast and a remix of his song 2step. He's also still set to play the 2022 Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium soon, but hopefully he'll get some time away to spend with his wife and daughters soon enough!
