With a long career in modeling, business, and being at the height of the fashion world, Kate Moss is starting down a new path as she was recently announced to be Diet Coke's new creative director.

Following the footsteps of other fashion icons before her, she'll be helping the brand celebrate its 40th anniversary in style, hoping to inspire others as she does.

Kate Moss is embarking on a new career journey.

Model and businesswoman Kate Moss has been announced as Diet Coke's new creative director.

This news comes with the 40th anniversary of the brand and the launch of their new 'Diet Coke Love What You Love' campaign.

Their merger is one of fashion.

Not only did Diet Coke say they hired her so she could bring her "unique aesthetic and style to the brand", but as Moss herself said in a statement, “I am thrilled to join the Diet Coke family - I love the past collaborations they’ve done with such incredible names in fashion."

It's true that they've done multiple fashionable collabs in the past.

In 2012 they had German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld create a bottle for them (that was advertised by Ben Stiller playing his supermodel character Derek Zoolander), then in 2013 they brought on Marc Jacobs as the creative director.

Moss is excited to take on this new venture.

"The Love What You Love campaign connected with me instantly as I am a firm believer that with confidence and passion, you can achieve your wildest dreams," she shared.

"As Creative Director, I'm looking forward to inspiring fans and celebrating the brand's 40th Birthday in style."
