Demi Lovato, 29, has revealed a head injury on their TikTok page that has fans grimacing in sympathy.

It always seems to happen that no matter what kind of important event you have coming up, there's always something that's going to happen to your face first. For most of us, that happens in the form of getting a pimple before a big date or presentation, but for a superstar like Demi Lovato, that might mean stitches before a television appearance.

Demi Lovato is having a big year.

Demi is preparing to release their eighth studio album, Holy Fvck, with a pop-punk/rock inspired heavier sound than we're used to hearing from the pop star, and part of that preparation involves going on TV to promote the album.

Demi revealed they got into a little bit of an accident before their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to do just that.

"Guess who hit their head on a crystal and has to get stitches before Kimmel tomorrow?" Demi captioned a TikTok post.

The post used a popular audio of someone saying "They're gonna know? They're not gonna know. How would they know?" before Demi moves their head into the frame and reveals a gash above their eyebrow that had fans grimacing in sympathy.

"That's nasty," one fan wrote in sympathy with some laughing emojis.

"I believe in the healing power of crystals…but sometimes they lash out I guess," another fan added.

"It's kinda badass though," wrote one fan, with another echoing their statement, "this adds to the badass rockstar look! It's hot!"

"This would only happen to you," one fan laughed.

It looks like Demi's feeling okay about the situation, given that they're joking around on TikTok, but we hope the healing process isn't too painful and that they're very careful around crystals for the foreseeable future!
