Famed podcast host and all-around personality Joe Rogan has made somewhat of a name for himself by saying some off-the-cuff remarks that some find not only shocking, but offensive too.

This remains the case with the criticism he's been receiving for a recent episode during which he made a comment that lots of people are finding to be tasteless, whether it was meant as a joke or not.

Joe Rogan has come under a bit of fire recently.

In a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', Rogan was speaking with comedian Tom Segura about the rate of homelessness in Los Angeles. Well, rather, he was complaining about homeless people.

Specifically about their belongings being "strewn around" public spaces.

Segura said that those belongings are still personal property that are protected by law, meaning someone could get arrested if they were to try and remove them.

Rogan's response to this was rather shocking and has caused waves of backlash online.

"You’d get arrested. Hilarious," he started.

"But, they wouldn’t arrest you if you shot somebody. Maybe you should just go shoot the homeless people."

That statement has caused tons of people to speak out against the podcast host online, finding even the suggestion of harming homeless people to be deplorable.

Some are arguing that critics are lacking context.

The context being that Rogan used that remark to begin complaining about Los Angeles County district attorney George Gascón, who's bee criticized in the past for being too lenient on certain crimes, even gun-related crimes.

However, others argue that that context isn't relevant.

It's certainly caused a debate and has called into question Rogan's actual beliefs regarding his statement, whether it's something he partially agrees with or if it were solely meant as a joke.

This is far from the first time he's gotten in hot water for shocking comments though, so we'll have to wait and see how this one pans out.
