Jason Momoa Is 'Shaken Up' By The 'Trauma' Of His Head-On Crash: Report

Fans of Aquaman hunk Jason Momoa were sent into a tizzy Sunday afternoon when it was reported that the 43-year-old had been involved in a head-on crash during a ride on his motorcycle, as first reported by TMZ.

Thankfully, neither Jason nor the other driver was seriously injured and the Game of Thrones alum was filmed walking away from the crash site.

Now, a few days after the accident, a source is revealing how the actor and dad is doing.

On Sunday, it was reported that Jason Momoa had collided with a motorcyclist while driving on Old Topanga Canyon Road near Calabasas, California.

As per TMZ, while the Aquaman star rounded a corner, a biker going the opposite direction crossed into his lane, making contact with the front of his bike.

Thankfully, it was reported that everyone was totally fine!

While the other motorcyclist did go flying briefly and hit Jason's windshield, he was able to stand up after the accident. He was then transported to the hospital with minor injuries, including bruising and a small injury to his thumb.

Now, a source close to Jason is giving fans an insight into how the actor is doing after the crash.

Speaking with Us Weekly the insider claimed that Jason "knows he's lucky to be alive" after the ordeal.

"He's still extremely shaken up by the trauma of it all," the source added.

He's "grateful he got away relatively unscathed and that the other driver is OK too."

The source explained that the Dune actor has had an "extremely turbulent time over the past couple of years", but that the crash is putting things into perspective for him.

"[Jason's] been charging around like crazy at times whilst dealing with his various dramas as well as his hectic career," the source told "Us Weekly."

"Jason is now very much at the stage of his life where he knows he needs to make the most of every day and watch out for danger at every turn."

I'm just so happy he and the other driver are both okay!
