I don't WANT to wait! Katie Holmes opened up about the possibility of a Dawson's Creek revival, almost 20 years after the show's finale.

Shows coming back from the great cancellation in the sky can be a blessing and a curse. Sometimes, these revivals are beloved by fans and give us more of the content we loved when the show originally aired. Other times, the revivals or reboots can feel like they're tarnishing the memories of the original show. Katie Holmes knows where she thinks a Dawson's Creek revival would land.

'Dawson's Creek' is a staple of late '90s television.

The drama followed a group of beautiful young adults all through their high school and start of college as they fall in love, fight, break up, and everything else you'd expect from a teen drama.

Recently, Katie Holmes was asked if there was any chance of a revival of the show.

"I’m so grateful for that experience," Katie said of the show.

When it comes to a reunion, "we’ve definitely talked about it over the years, but I feel like that show captured that time period and that time in all of our lives,” Katie told ScreenRant.

“So I think it’s great that you are nostalgic for it," she went on.

"So am I. But it’s like, do we want to see them not at that age? I don’t know. I don’t think [so]. We all decided we don’t actually,” she said.

While this news might be sad for some fans of the show, not everyone is upset.

Some fans would rather keep the memory of the show clean.

"No i don’t want a dawsons creek revival, i know the writers and they will end up ruining everything so they can keep it," one fan tweeted.

What do you think? Would you want a revival or do you agree with Katie that the show is better off as it stands? Let us know in the comments!
