Bindi Irwin shared an emotional video of her daughter recognizing Steve Irwin as 'Grandpa Crocodile.'
Steve Irwin would definitely be incredibly proud of his family. Not only are they continuing his public legacy of animal rights and environmental activism, but they're continuing his private legacy in their family as well. His daughter, Bindi, 24, shared a video of her daughter, Grace, 1, that has fans' hearts breaking.
Even from as soon as she was named! Baby Grace Warrior Irwin Powell was born in March 2021, and as Bindi wrote on Instagram, "Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior."
In a video shared to her Instagram, Bindi shows her young daughter excitedly running over to a fence that has a sign with Steve Irwin's photo on it. "Do you see him? Is he over here?" Bindi is heard asking in the video, to which Grace excitedly agrees and points. "Grandpa Crocodile," Bindi adds.
"I love you, sweetheart. Grandpa Crocodile loves you too," Bindi says in the video.
"We have a little construction going on to make our Tasmanian devil habitat @australiazoo even more beautiful," Bindi captioned the shot on her Instagram. "Grace’s favourite part? Visiting Grandpa Crocodile. All the love."
