Rosie O'Donnell, 60, is defending herself after daughter Vivienne, 19, shared some stories from her childhood and claimed her upbringing was "not normal."

It's human nature to think that our moms are a little bit weird, right? I think that's part of the requirements to become a mom in the first place — normal people need not apply! Of course, when your mom is comedian and actress Rosie O'Donnell, you probably have more room to feel this way than the rest of us, as her daughter Vivienne exposed in a recent TikTok.

Vivienne, 19, is Rosie's youngest child with her ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter.

After sharing a TikTok video where Vivienne described not realizing that "this beautiful woman" called Mo would visit them frequently when Vivienne was a child, until “one night they were watching TV and it’s Mo, getting a [expletive] award. And I’m like, ‘Wait, Mo is Madonna?!’ Had no idea it was Madonna until I was 12 and it was the same thing with Oprah,” Vivienne received a ton of comments praising the way that Rosie raised her.

"Your parents did an amazing job keeping you out of the craziness of Hollywood," one comment read.

"I love all these comments about how Rosie kept my life ‘normal,'" Vivienne responded in another TikTok. "No offense, Mom, that never happened. She just didn’t really inform us, for really anything. I think that was more it, because once I would find out, she’d be like, ‘Vivi, come on, you know that. Like, you know that.’"

"She has done so much for me and I'm so incredibly, incredibly thankful for her, but one thing she’s not done is normal."

Rosie has taken to her own TikTok page to defend herself and her parenting.

"Vivi, what do you mean I didn’t do anything normal? I did normal things. I’m normal. I’m totally normal. Geez, Viv. I’m gonna tell some secrets about you!” Rosie threatens in her response.

Fans are loving this peek into the family life.

"I am loving Viv's stories," one commenter wrote. "Sounds like she has had a great life and loves you very much!"

"You’ll have to wait till she’s 45 then she’ll appreciate you!" another commenter wrote.

We can't wait to hear the stories that Rosie has to share!
