Neighbors Come Up With 'Pathetic' Way To Reserve Their Parking Spot

If you want to make your neighbor mad, there are some surefire ways to do it.

Play music late at night — preferably something annoying, like “the Hamster Song.” Mow the lawn early in the morning on a Saturday. And finally, mess with their parking

This seems to be what irks people the most, as evident by what happened when neighbors came up with a “pathetic” way to reserve their parking spot.

You’ve heard about road rage.

This is when you get extremely angry when another driver drives too slow or cuts you off the road.

But what about parking rage? This is when a person parks horribly, thus taking up two spots in a parking lot or reserves a spot.

Some parking decisions are justified, like when a woman took up two parking spots at Disney to help her disabled son.

But instead of people being understanding, she was left with a rude note on her car from a disgruntled guest.

This is a type of epilepsy that can affect a person's ability to walk, talk, and even see. As a result of his disabilities, Tricia parks in handicapped parking spots to help her son get out in his wheelchair.

Going to Disney is the “highlight” of both their lives, she told FOX 35 News.

But that turned into a nightmare when a person left a rude note on Proefrocks windshield. This came after she was forced to park in two spots since the handicap section with ramp accesses was full.

It’s not something she likes doing, but the cast members instructed her after there were no other options.

While the mother’s parking flub was justified, this next story is not.

It involves a father and son who have a system in place to ensure that "their" parking space is saved at all times.

Their neighbor, Tasha Bonner, recorded a video of their "system" and put it on TikTok.

The video has now been viewed over 1.5. million times. "Here we go again - brown car is ready to dash into the space," she wrote over the clip.

It showed a man in a blue car driving off and the brown vehicle behind him immediately taking the space.

"They both live there so they swap cars to keep that space 'saved' at all times," Tasha said.

This is despite the fact that they have enough room for two cars in their driveway.

So the only word that can be summed up to describe their actions is "selfish."

And "pathetic," as Tasha explained to the Daily Mail.

"I think it's comical and sad they they are so obsessed with this despite having a drive for two cars and ample space up the road."

"It's the biggest stress of his life. The son wouldn't be able to leave if he wasn't there to move the brown car," she continued.

"I want it to come across as being pathetic rather than I'm sitting indoors stressed. I am mocking them for having a system that is in effect 24/7."

Many TikTok viewers agreed with her frustrations and even shared their own stories of nightmare neighbors.

"My neighbour does the same… her son lives at the top of our estate but he parks in her driveway so then she has an excuse to park on the road," one wrote.

Others saw Tasha as the "pathetic" one for recording them.

"He's made room for his drive? Nothing wrong with that," one wrote.

Another person criticized her for filming from her window. "Biggest curtain twitcher ever. Just as bad as your neighbors."
