Chris Pratt is celebrating his son Jack's 10th birthday with a sweet Instagram message. As fans of the Parks and Rec alum know, the actor and his ex-wife, Anna Faris, are very private about their son, and rarely show him on their social media pages.

Now, Chris is posting a sweet tribute to his son while respecting his privacy in the months following the backlash he faced for his comments about his "healthy daughter" with current wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Chris Pratt has been called out by fans many times over the past few years.

The Tomorrow War star has been called out for insensitive jokes, the clothes he's worn, and most recently for a viral post in which he thanked his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, for giving him a "healthy" daughter.

While the post seemed innocent at first, many fans took the compliment as a dig at Chris' first wife, Anna Faris, with whom he shares son Jack, 10.

As fans may recall, Jack was born premature and has resulting health problems.

Back in June, Chris reflected on life as a semi "canceled" actor.

“You don’t ever wanna get caught complaining or anything. ’Cause I have so many blessings. I consider everything a blessing truly in my life,” Chris told Men's Health at the time. “[But] why are they coming after me?”

"And I’m like, that is [expletive] up," he added. "My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s nine. And it’s etched in digital stone."

"It really [expletive] bothered me, dude. I cried about it. I was like, I hate that these blessings in my life are—to the people close to me—a real burden."

Now, in his first post since the emotional interview, Chris is sharing a post dedicated to his son for his 10th birthday.

Since he and Anna rarely post Jack on their social media pages, Chris opted for a different kind of photo.

Sharing a picture of two sheep, seemingly representing him and his son, Chris wrote:

"Happy Birthday to my first born, my smart, handsome, kind hearted, big boy Jack! TEN!!?? WHAAAT!? Double digits!! Hard to believe it’s already been ten years!!" he wrote.

"You’re the best son, big brother, fisherman, scout, reader, mathematician, imagineer, builder, boxer and buddy a guy could ask for. Love you kid!"

I hope that Jack is enjoying his day and is feeling the love from both of his parents!
