All of this starts, of course, with the act of transporting your kids from home to school. What's the most efficient way to complete the critical drop-off? One TikToker has a foolproof method.

There's a zone specifically for dropping kids off, but in order to keep things moving efficiently, parents and kids alike need to hustle. This is no easy task when kids are struggling with backpacks and there's a long line of cars queueing up.

This TikToker has a method.

Lateasha Witherspoon, who can be found on TikTok @teashawitherspoon, shared a video that's gone big-time viral on her TikTok account. It all has to do with how she drops her sons, eight-year-old Jason and six-year-old Jeremiah, off at school.

It's a step-by-step guide.

This still shows the importance of making sure your kids are ready for a quick and efficient drop-off. It's also critical to make sure that your kids are on the passenger side of the car so they can easily get out.

Because there's always a line, you'll have a few moments to prep your kids for the drop-off. Lateasha stresses the importance of getting your kids to wear their backpacks so they won't have to reach back into the car to get them.

Next step: hand on the latch.

When you're a few cars from the drop-off area, Lateasha says you should make sure they have their hand on the door latch so they can quickly hop out. "They need to be ready to go," she says.

It's go time!

From there, it's a simple matter of driving to the designated area and letting your kids put into practice everything that you've taught them.

“Most importantly, we are yielding,” Witherspoon quips. “It’s not a stop. It’s a yield… We’re gonna teach them how to tuck and roll.”

Once they close the door, it's time to move on and let the next car do its thing.

It's a really efficient way to drop kids off.

It might require a bit of coaching in order to make it stick, but it does seem to be working for Lateasha.

"Ya’ll have got to stop getting out of the car and opening the doors for them," Lateasha says. "Let them open their own ... door — it takes too much time."

The video took off.

Because so much of child-rearing feels slow and inefficient, parents are usually interested in anything that might expedite a process. Commenters shared their own experiences with dropping kids off at school. Of course, some thought Lateasha was micromanaging a simple process.

To the haters, Lateasha has a response...

In a follow-up video, Lateasha responded to those who'd left negative comments on the original video. It comes in the form of a short video of her sons dancing with joy.

This method might not work with all kids, but it's clearly working out just fine for Lateasha and her boys.

What do you think?

This seems like a good way to move things along in the school loading zone, but it might also be placing a lot of pressure on kids who are already in a hectic situation. What do you think? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments.
