It's hard to believe that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. The news of the monarch's passing on Thursday sent shock waves across the world and left millions feeling like their one constant is now gone.
As we look to the future of the Royal Family, here's how the queen's grandson Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton's titles have changed.
The news came after an earlier statement indicated that the monarch was being monitored closely by doctors who were "concerned" for her wellbeing.
Camilla's title wasn't always a guarantee, though. As fans will recall, when Charles and Camilla quietly wed back in 2005, Camilla let it be known that she intended to use the title "princess consort" — a first in Royal history.
For that same reason, Camilla decided not to use the Princess of Wales title (which had been used by the late Diana) and instead opted for the Duchess of Cornwall, thus styling herself on Charles's other title.
"Nobody likes to be looked at all the time and, you know, criticised... but I think in the end, I sort of rise above it and get on with it."
Back in February, Queen Elizabeth requested for Camilla to take on the title of Queen Consort when it was time to do so.
As aforementioned, Camilla will now be known as Camilla, Queen Consort as her husband is now King Charles III.
Shortly after her Majesty's passing, William and Kate added Cornwall to their titles on Twitter.
As Royal fans know, those titles were previously held by Charles and Camilla.

After King Charles III made his first public address as King of the United Kingdom Friday evening, it was confirmed that the pair were now also the Prince and Princess of Wales.
So this means the pair will retain their Duke and Duchess of Cambridge titles while also inheriting the Prince and Princess of Wales.
This is a major historical moment and a nostalgic name change for Royal family fans.
