Any parent, grandparent, older sibling, or anyone who's had to be in charge of a young child knows it's sometimes hard for them to grasp serious subjects like death. Furthermore, they're not always able to sympathize as they can't understand immense sorrow like that.

However, young Prince Louis seems to understand perfectly, as in the wake of his great-grandmother's death, he shared a sweet sentiment with his mom, Kate Middleton.

Yesterday, the Prince and Princess of Wales took a walk outside Windsor Castle.

William and Kate, joined by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, spoke to gatherers who were giving their condolences regarding Queen Elizabeth II's passing.

One person in attendance overheard a very sweet story.

A woman named Banita Ranow said she heard Kate telling some young children about what her youngest son, Louis, said about the Queen's death, tearing up as she repeated his words.

It's very sweet, we don't blame her for getting emotional!

Kate told the kids, "Louis said at least Grannie is with great-grandpa now."

This comes not too long after Louis stole the show at the Platinum Jubilee earlier this year, where everyone got to see not only his antics but the way he and his grandmother interacted. They seemed to be rather close!

This moment with Kate, though, came after an even bigger surprise.

Onlookers were shocked to see William and Kate walking alongside Harry and Meghan, as mentioned earlier, given that it'd been over two years since the two brothers spoke to one another.

As a guest named Baljinder Ranow said, "I felt so emotional and I felt the Queen would have loved it. I just hope in the future they remain like that and that the brothers come together, and the families."
