Fans are furious after Olivia Newton-John wasn't included in the In Memoriam segment at the Emmys on Monday, and they're not the only ones.

It's definitely tough to plan out an In Memoriam at an awards show. No matter what you do, there's simply no way to honor every single person in the industry who made an impact that passed away that year, especially when fans are demanding tributes to particular icons. However, leaving some names out will definitely catch the attention of their fans, especially when they have a long history in the industry you're honoring.

Olivia passed away on August 8th at the age of 73.

Best known for her role in Grease and her music career, Olivia was beloved around the world as an actress and as an icon.

Olivia had a long history in the television industry, acting in projects like A Mom For Christmas, American Idol, RuPaul's Drag Race, Murphy Brown, Glee, and Dancing With The Stars, on top of her own TV specials.

Because of this, many were expecting to see her in the 'In Memoriam' segment during the Emmys this past Monday.

While the tribute honored such stars as Betty White, Bob Saget, Ray Liotta, Anne Heche, Sidney Poitier, and more, Olivia was notably not included in the tribute.

Fans took to social media to share their feelings on this.

They were not happy that she was missing.

"Wait did the Emmy’s not acknowledge the passing of Olivia Newton John?!? I still feel like she should still have been mentioned even if she didn’t win an Emmy in her lifetime or maybe that’s just me?!" tweeted

"Emmy awards didn’t include Olivia Newton John in the memoriam tribute and I’ve never been so mad.." added

Michael Caprio, Olivia's publicist of 24 years, also spoke up.

Caprio told TMZ he was "personally very disappointed by the snub" and that not including the star "wasn't right, given Olivia's extensive track record in Hollywood and especially on TV."
