We often view celebrities as people who live in their own rarefied world. While this isn't always the case, celebs do tend to exist in their own bubbles.

This inevitably leads to celebs hooking up, getting married, and starting families before inevitably divorcing again. The following celeb couples are no more, but they all produced at least one kid — some of whom are making their own way in Hollywood.

Helena Christensen and Norman Reedus

Long before he was cast in The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus was a model who was in a relationship with another model: Helena Christensen. While their partnership wouldn't last, they had a son — Mingus Lucien Reedus — who's now a model, just like his dad.

Jon Tenney and Teri Hatcher

Teri Hatcher, who's had a long career in TV and film, married actor Jon Tenney (who's mostly appeared in TV productions) in 1994. They stayed together for nearly a decade, having one daughter — Emerson — in 1997.

Virginia Madsen and Antonio Sabàto Jr.

The fashion model was tied to actress Virginia Madsen from 1993 to 1998, although they never got married. Along the way, they had one son and named him Jack. Jack is now 28 years old.

D'Angelo (best known from the Vacation movies) and Pacino (best known for...everything) were a couple between 1997 and 2003. They had twins, Anton James and Olivia Rose, who were born via IVF conception, in 2001.

The '70s singer-songwriters might have seemed like a match made in heaven, but Carly Simon and James Taylor were only an item for a little over a decade. They had two kids, daughter Sally and son Ben.

Brian Austin Green and Vanessa Marcil

Marcil and Green are best known for their roles on Beverly Hills 90210 in the '90s. They got engaged in 2001 but broke things off before tying the knot. Their son, Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green, was born in 2002.

Barkin was married to Irish actor Gabriel Byrne from 1988 to 1999, a span of eleven years (even though they separated in 1993). They remain close to this day, and have two kids together: Jack Daniel and Romy Marion.

Tyne Daly and Georg Stanford Brown

Tyne Daly and Georg Stanford Brown got married all the way back in 1966. Their marriage lasted for nearly a quarter of a century, and they had three kids — including actress Kathryne Dora Brown — during their time together.

Téa Leoni and David Duchovny

David Duchovny, who will always be best remembered as Agent Fox Mulder on The X-Files, married Téa Leoni in 1997. They had a rocky relationship that ended with a divorce in 2014. Their daughter, Madelaine West Duchovny, is 23, while son Kyd Miller Duchovny is 20.

Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins

Sarandon and Robbins met while shooting Bull Durham in 1988 and stayed together for more than 20 years, finally splitting up in 2009. They had two sons along the way: John "Jack" Henry, born in 1989, and Miles, born in 1992.

Kimberly Stewart and Benicio del Toro

Benicio del Toro was in a short-lived relationship with socialite Kimberly Stewart, who's best known as Rod Stewart's daughter, in 2010 and 2011. They had a daughter, Delilah Genoveva Stewart, in 2021. She was Rod Stewart's first grandchild.

Catherine Keener and Dermot Mulroney

The actors were together for a long, long time by Hollywood standards: 17 years. They eventually filed for divorce in 2007, citing irreconcilable differences. They had a son named Clyde in 1999, who's now a singer.

Kate Beckinsale and Michael Sheen

Welsh actor Michael Sheen was exclusive with British actress Kate Beckinsale for eight years, starting in 1995, after meeting in a touring play. They broke up in 2003 and remain close friends. Their daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, is now 23 years old.

Jessica Lange and Mikhail Baryshnikov

Lange, who's accomplished Academy Award, Primetime Emmy, and Tony Award wins, was in a relationship with Russian ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov in the late '70s and early '80s. They had one daughter, Aleksandra Lange "Shura" Baryshnikov in 1981, who followed in her dad's footsteps and became a choreographer.

Laura Dern and Ben Harper

Actress Laura Dern and singer-songwriter Ben Harper were married for eight years, starting in 2005. They had two kids — Ellery and Jaya — in 2001 and 2004 respectively. Even after breaking up in 2013, they remained close, and Dern is close with Harper's kids from his first marriage.

Andre 3000 and Erykah Badu

Andre 3000, who's one half of Outkast, and singer Erykah Badu were an item from 1996 to 1999. Their three-year relationship produced one son, Seven Sirius Benjamin, in 1997. Fun fact: the Outkast song 'Ms. Jackson' is about Andre's relationship with Badu.

Actors Billy Crudup and Mary-Louise Parker got together back in 1996 and lasted until 2003 or so. Their son, William Atticus Parker, was born in 2004. Crudup left Parker when she was pregnant for Claire Danes, while Parker got together with Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Bradley Whitford and Jane Kaczmarek

Whitford is best known as White House Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman from The West Wing, while Jane Kaczmarek made her mark as the mom on Malcolm in the Middle. They called it quits in 2010 after 18 years of marriage, having two kids along the way: Mary Louisa, who's 19, and George, who's 22.

Eddie Murphy and Mel B

The funnyman and the Spice Girl were barely an item for any length of time, but they got together long enough to have a daughter, Angel Iris Murphy, in 2007. It was a messy situation that resulted in a paternity settlement.

Anna Friel and David Thewlis

Anna Friel of Pushing Daisies was in a long-term relationship with Big Mouth's David Thewlis from 2001 to 2010. The two British actors separated after nearly a decade together, but they did have a daughter — Gracie Ellen Mary Friel — in 2005.
