It's no secret that Kody Brown has not been a standup parent to his ex-wife Christine's children, especially their teen daughter Ysabel. As viewers of the hit TLC series Sister Wives will know, the father of 18 was called out online after refusing to travel with his daughter for her major back surgery.
On Sunday night's episode of the reality show, two of Christine's daughters weighed in on their mom's divorce.
Besides a statement from both Christine and Kody on social media, the family kept things pretty tight-lipped while waiting for the newest season of Sister Wives to grace our TV screens.
Oh, and from Christine's son-in-law Tony who seems cool too, I guess?
ANYWAY, MOVING ON TO THE SHADE.
"But of course, I'm sad about it. I mean, sometimes it just doesn't work out. And I'm happy that my mom will be able to find somebody who she's really, really, really happy with."
"I was honestly relieved when I heard my mom was leaving my dad. They're not happy, they're not in love," the 26-year-old said, as per Insider.
Kody then weighed in on the situation and how his relationship with his adult children has changed.
"It's not that I'm angry, or trying to hold them accountable in the moment or anything like that."
To be honest, I'm not surprised at all that this is how Christine's daughters reacted, especially Ysabel, considering everything she went through with her health and the lack of support from her father last year.
