We sometimes have the tendency to think that celebrities are these perfect, do-no-wrong beings. But that couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, they can get mean or have fights with others, including other celebrities.

These celebs were involved in (somewhat speculative) feuds in the past, but showed that they're actually beyond the fighting. Or, maybe there was never a fight or a feud to begin with.

Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj is no stranger to awards show snubs, and back in 2015 she spoke out about how her hit song "Anaconda" was snubbed by the MTV Video Music Awards for Best Music Video. In an angry Tweet, she wrote, "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year."

Taylor Swift, who was nominated, took the Tweet as shade toward her.

In a since-deleted Tweet, Swift responded, "I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot." And of course Nicki responded by saying the initial Tweet had nothing to do with Taylor.

Taylor responded by inviting Nicki on stage if she won.

The two later appeared together in the opening performance for that year's VMAs, where they sang "The Night Is Still Young" and a bit of "Bad Blood." Now that's how you end a feud before it begins.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry

The two pop stars started out as friends. But when Swift released "Bad Blood," the internet began to speculate that it was actually about a falling out she had with Katy Perry.

Taylor gave an interview stating that the song was about another pop star who tried to sabotage her.

In a Rolling Stone interview, she said, "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me." Though she never names Perry, the two were pretty shady toward one another on social media since the song's release.

But years later, they very publicly made amends.

Shortly before Swift's 2018 "Reputation" tour, Perry sent her a letter with a literal olive branch, apologizing for past behavior. Then in 2019, Perry posted a pic of a plate of cookies that reads, "Peace at last," while tagging Swift. Looks like they're back to being friends.

Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett

High School Musical The Musical: The Series costars and exes, things went well between Rodrigo and Bassett, until they didn't. "Driver's License," the 2021 song that put Olivia Rodrigo on the map, was seemingly about Bassett, who reportedly started seeing Sabrina Carpenter after his split with Rodrigo.

While Rodrigo never confirmed who the song was about, both Bassett and Carpenter released songs seemingly in response.

Sabrina Carpenter's "Skin" featured the lyrics "Maybe you didn't mean it / Maybe blonde was the only rhyme," potentially referencing Rodrigo's mention of a "blonde girl" in "Driver's License." And later on in 2021, Bassett released "Crisis," "Secret," and "Set Me Free," all of which were speculated to be about Rodrigo.

But the two demonstrated that there were no hard feelings during the premier of 'HSMTMTS' season 3.

Though the two apparently hadn't spoken since "Driver's License" released, they shared a pretty fun moment on the red carpet together.

Weird Al Yankovic and Coolio

In 1996, Yankovic released "Amish Paradise," a parody song of Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise" which released the previous year. Initially, Coolio wasn't a fan of the fact that Yankovic parodied his song, despite that kind of being Yankovic's whole deal.

Coolio was reportedly upset that Yankovic and his team did so without permission.

Coolio publicly denounced the parody song, and even added fuel to the fire by dissing Yankovic in his 1997 song, "Throwdown 2000" with the line "uppercuts and fight kicks with 'Weird Al' Yankovic."

A few years later, though, Coolio changed his stance.

Once the 2000s hit, Coolio's feelings did a complete 180. He realized that he put his ego first, and did what he could to make amends. "I've since apologized to him. Again, that was so stupid. … That was a stupid thing for me to do. That was one of the dumbest things I did in my career," he said.

P!nk and Christina Aguilera

Alongside Mya and Lil' Kim, P!nk and Christina worked together for the 2001 hit song "Lady Marmalade," which is apparently when their famous feud got its beginnings. Though there didn't seem to be animosity in the music video, a lot more happened behind the scenes.

A 2009 video special about the song shed some light on what went down.

P!nk said during the special, "[Label executive] Ron Fair walked in. He didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part.'"

She replied with "'Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink. She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the [expletive] meeting’s about.'"

In later years, the two have squashed the feud.

During her time on The Voice, Aguilera brought P!nk on to be a coach for her team. And while addressing online hate in 2017, P!nk stated that she and Aguilera are on good terms nowadays.

Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber

Rumors of a feud between the two stars have been circulating for years. Selena famously dated Justin Bieber on and off for quite some time, ending in 2018. That was also the year Justin married Hailey, leading many to wonder if she was ever the "other woman" in Selena's relationship with the singer.

In September of this year, Hailey addressed the rumors once and for all.

On an episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Hailey said, "I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody — that's the end of it."

Then, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, the two were photographed together.

In a final bid to dispel any rumors of feuds or bad blood, Selena and Hailey posed for pictures while at the event. It looks like this speculative feud is done for good.
