Now that I'm married, it's like I've joined a secret club. I have to deal with everything that comes with tying the knot, like putting up with my husband's constant interrupting or never having the bathroom to myself, to name a few.

But marriage also comes with apologizing for something you never had to do before. So this one husband is taking to the internet to share all the stuff he's been apologizing for to his wife, and it's quite amusing. Check it out.

Chip Leighton, who runs The Leighton Show on TikTok, has a series of videos.

He affectionately calls this series “Things I’ve apologized to my wife for," haha! His latest installment is so popular that it currently has about 2 million views. Wow!

So let's take a look at some of the things he had to say 'sorry' for to make his wife happy.

Are you ready for it? Just to warn you — there's a lot!

One night he went upstairs for the night without announcing it to his wife. So currently, he's working on a solo version of that scene from The Sound of Music where the kids do a big number on their way to bed. That should work, eh?

But, wait, there's more.

He also applied the brakes in order to save his family's lives, but he underestimated the trauma the change in momentum would create for his wife. Oh, yeah! That's a big one. You definitely have to apologize for that, haha.

Then there's this.

He sprained his ankle and had a walking boot and he was limping too loudly upstairs. The thing to do would have been to lay down on his good leg and silently drag his body up the stairs using the railing. That's what the wife said, hehe.

Oh, and don't do this either.

He was standing in the kitchen minding his own business when the wife wanted to open a drawer in front of him, and he should have dove out of the way as soon as he sensed her movement.

This obvious mistake.

He was cutting his steak and his knife touched the plate for a fraction of a second. Yikes!

He momentarily faced his wife and was breathing his hot breath in her face and he should just be facing the wall the entire night instead despite the chronic shoulder pain it causes. OMG!

Here are a few other things.

"A guy on TV cheated on his wife." Which means you should immediately apologize to yours for that. Do you hear that, guys?

"I couldn't stop the wind." Hmm, that's a tough one. Let's blame the weather for that.

"I wanted to watch something other than a house-hunting show." No, you're not allowed.

This just keeps going.

"I don't know who everyone is." Well, I can definitely relate to that one.

"I didn't know a closer parking spot was going to open up." Okay, who can predict that?

"I applied the brakes." How are you going to stop the car otherwise?

"I suggested she use the turn signals." Oh, I smell trouble there.

"There was traffic." Yes, just blame the husband for that.

"My annoying questions about mysterious coffee stains." My advice is — just live with it and don't ask any questions.

Is this list ever going to end?

Apparently not, lol.

"I accidentally laughed at her insane treadmill theory." Okay, he's just asking for it here.

"I didn't want to sell our house and buy one that we can't afford." Oh, boy! I'm not even touching that one. You're on your own, buddy.

I feel bad for this guy.

"I didn't like a show she recommended." I have to defend the wife on this one. I hate when I suggest a show, and my hubby is like, "meh." I don't know about you, but I find it so irritating too.

Get ready for some more.

"I didn't answer all her questions at once." Yup, I get it.

"I set my glass down for 30 seconds." But did you use a coaster? If not, then you deserve what you get, hehe.

Definitely don't do these.

"I said 'what?' when I didn't hear her." That would get any wife rallied up, eh?

"I ruined the couch by sitting on it." You see, when you sit on one side of the couch, you get that annoying indentation, and apparently, that's a big no-no in this household.

Oh, my goodness. I can't stop laughing.

"I gently tugged the covers." It sounds like it triggered something.

"I made noise while tripping." This is what she was upset about. How about making sure he was okay? No? I would question that one if I were him.

These are also no-nos.

"I was mean to her in her dream." Been there, done that. I once woke up really pissed off at my hubby because of how he acted in my dream. I know it seems crazy, but I couldn't help it, lol.

This is a big one for me.

"I fell asleep during a movie." This is a recurring problem in our home right now. As soon as my hubby lies down on the couch, he's out in about 30 seconds. And I'm stuck watching TV on my own. Needless to say, I hate that.

If you're not laughing at this you must be crying.

As I said, this is all good fun. This guy's TikTok account is all about him being just a regular guy with an office job, doing the TikTok and Instagram thing for fun. He's also been happily married for 23 years, and I bet his wife really appreciates his sense of humor.

And so do other people it seems.

The comments left on this man's videos are pretty hilarious. Some folks have even said what they did wrong and what they should obviously apologize to their wives for, too, haha. And I can't stop laughing at all of that.

What did I tell you?

Isn't this guy hilarious, or what? I bet he's saying all the things the other husbands are afraid to say out loud, haha.

So, has there been anything your wife got mad at you for that you thought was totally not your fault but you apologized to her anyway? I'd love to know, hehe, so share it with the rest of the class. Okay?
