Shakira is facing backlash after several Spanish news outlets reported that the singer cut a 90-minute line with her children at a family-friendly attraction this past weekend. While I understand that being a celebrity means it's difficult to do most things as a "normal" person, I don't blame the other parents in line for being annoyed at this alleged special treatment.

Shakira has been in the news lately in regard to her alleged tax fraud.

The 45-year-old has been accused by prosecutors in Spain of defrauding the government of roughly $15 million in taxes in the two years she spent living there from 2012 to 2014.

However, this latest controversy has nothing to do with taxes and everything to do with manners.

As reported by Page Six, the "Hips Don't Lie" singer bypassed dozens of people who had been waiting for over an hour so her kids could ride the Tower of Terror ride in Barcelona.

An eyewitness, who just happened to be a local reporter, told the Spanish outlet "Socialité" that Shakira arrived with her two children, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, and their security guard before quickly sneaking in.

Journalist Silvia Taulés claimed that the singer didn’t flinch when people cried out after seeing them skip the line.

"What kind of example is that for her kids?" the journalist said. "That from such a young age, they learn that they can cut in front of everyone when it’s not necessary."

Silvia also posted images to Twitter that appeared to show Shakira at the Tower of Terror venue with her children.
