The comedy horror series Wednesday will go down in history as one of the most iconic series ever released. Since it hit the screens in November 2022, the show has quickly become one of the most talked about series on Netflix, even surpassing Stranger Things for the most hours viewed on the streaming platform. Meanwhile, the storyline is not the only captivating thing about the series.

Jenna Ortega has also won viewers' hearts with her perfect portrayal of the main character, Wednesday Addams. While one of the key traits of the actress's unflappable character is keeping a straight face, Jenna is quite the opposite behind the scenes. Recently, fans saw a blooper reel that proved Wednesday Addams could smile and even giggle.

Here are the details.

Inside The Official Blooper Reel

On December 12, 2022, Netflix shared the official Wednesday blooper reel. In the almost two-minute video, Jenna laughed more times than her character did in all eight episodes of the series's first season.

Fans also saw Gwendoline Christie's Principal Weems and Emma Myers' Enid Sinclair struggling to keep their composure in the macabre scene. Wednesday Addams' parents, Morticia and Gomez Addams, portrayed by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán also took part in the fun.

More Details Of The Hilarious Reel

At some point in the reel, during a true moment of method acting, Jenna growled at a plane that interrupted a take. Based on the number of plane flyovers mentioned on the blooper, it appeared to be an ongoing interruption. Jenna also told her co-stars that growling at a plane very hard would make it go away.

Another part of the blooper reel showed Jenna accidentally hitting Emma in the face with a flashlight as she climbed through a window.

There's even a glimpse of director Tim Burton having some fun on set.

Another fan shared the same sentiment, noting that the flashlight accident was her favorite part of the clip.

Jenna's Smile Delights Fans

While some commented on the accident, others expressed delight in seeing Jenna smile. One fan said seeing the actress smile was hilarious since Wednesday Addams never cracked a grin. Another said she liked how Jenna smiled more in the bloopers than in the entire series. Overall, the clip showed how much of an amazing time they had on set.
