Madonna Claps Back After Being Sued For Starting Her Concert Late: 'A Queen Is Never Late'

If you've ever seen Madonna in concert, there's a good chance girlfriend started her show hella late.

That's because the Queen of Pop has a reputation for starting her concerts *several* hours late.

And one Florida fan actually sued her because of it.

Yep, you read that right.

After Madonna switched the start time of her upcoming Miami concert from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Nate Hollander filed a class-action suit stating the show was now too late for him to attend.

This lawsuit has sparked discourse on social media about Madonna's consistently late performances.

Fans were sharing their experiences with her tardiness on Twitter.

People felt the total disregard for start times was super disrespectful.

PEOPLE HAVE WORK IN THE MORNING!!!!

In response to the backlash she's been receiving for her late start times, Madonna had this to say:

"There's something that you all need to understand, and that is, that a queen is never late," she told the crowd at her show in Vegas this past weekend.

Naturally, Madonna's blasé attitude about a real concern her fans have did *not* go over well.

"I totally think fans should sue late performers! I mean we are paying them to deliver an on time curtain call. And plus it’s called RESPECT! " wrote Jabari Thomas on Twitter.

Many fans felt Madonna should have just apologized for her tardiness.

"Try saying sorry, it's a very endearing quality."

People even drew comparisons to fellow powerhouse Céline Dion who they view as prompt and professional.

Of course, some fans were defending their icon.

"If you can’t respect a living legend, then MOVE ON!"

What do you think of Madonna's comments? Would you wait three hours to see her perform?
