Horrifying Video Captures Audio Of Woman's Screams During Kidnapping

When something disturbs us to the core, there's often one of our senses that seems to experience it deeper than the others. Unfortunately, the traumatic things we witness can have a way of flashing back into our minds via the impression it left on that sense.

For instance, those unfortunate enough to have discovered a person's body may be able to picture it in their minds, while someone trapped in a disgusting place may actually remember what it smelled like.

However, this is not to underestimate how powerful the things we hear can be on our mental well-being. And the haunting sounds captured in the full video will likely stay with anyone who hears them

Be advised that the footage captured may be disturbing to some viewers.

Residents of the 3000 block of 3rd Avenue in Los Angeles, California reported hearing a woman screaming on November 12, 2019.

Although the screams are hard to make out at first, their blood-curdling nature makes the urgency of the situation obvious.

Although the video mostly depicts a still neighborhood, one resident's door camera also captures the screams in full.

This homeowner was also clearly alerted by them, as the video shows her step onto her porch and wrap a blanket around her waist.

As this person stands and looks in the direction of the screams, the woman in distress can then be heard screaming "Somebody help me!"

Curiously, a man can also be heard intermittently shouting "I'm sorry" at this point in the video. He is now suspected of kidnapping the woman.

As the screaming continues, a car's engine can soon be heard revving.

As ABC News reported, police currently believe this vehicle to be a white four-door Prius.

One witness reported seeing plastic wrap covering the passenger window, which may have been a temporary fix after a previous collision.

It's difficult to get a good look at the vehicle as it moves south down 3rd Avenue, but witnesses were close enough to make out additional details.

Namely, that the woman appeared to be in the front passenger seat and had dark, braided hair.

As the woman screamed, her hair was reportedly being pulled back. This was likely done by the driver.

For the time being, Los Angeles police have no additional information about the suspected kidnapping case in the full video.

As witness Denise Bingham told ABC News, "I’m bothered, I’m really bothered. Her screams, I can’t forget it. I can’t forget it."
