10+ Mistakes In Popular Netflix Shows

Netflix is one of the biggest streaming services out there, and to be fair to them, they make some pretty amazing original television and movies.

However, not even Netflix's original creations are without their faults. In fact, this list will explore the many mistakes that some shows have made.

1. A Heart Monitor Mess Up

Netflix

There's a scene in Sense8 where the heart rate on the monitor goes from a 72 (pretty normal) to 0 (which is dead) back to 72, and yet the actress is still acting dead.

2. Escobar's Satellite Phone

Netflix

There's a scene in Narcos where our old pal International Drug Lord Pablo Escobar is talking on a satellite phone.

Keep in mind Escobar was active in the '70s and '80s, whereas satellite phones weren't invented until the 2000s!

3. The Walkie-Talkies

Netflix

In Daredevil, the first confrontation between Kingpin and Daredevil is through two-way police walkie-talkies.

The two of them talk to each other like it's over the phone, and never take their fingers off the button. Something you need to do in order to listen to two-way walkie-talkies.

4. The Spring

Netflix

In Orange Is The New Black, there's a scene where a character kicks in a bathroom door.

When we pan over to the door, we see the spring that's used so the door doesn't damage the walls.

5. No Stark Tower

Netflix

During the entire Jessica Jones series, we cut to skylines of New York. Beautiful, picturesque New York.

And yet, considering this is the MCU... where is the Stark Tower? Shouldn't it be there?

6. The Buses Issue

Giphy

There's a scene in Bloodline where a character is supposed to arrive on a certain bus.

He doesn't, and a busload of extras comes off the bus, greeting us with all their extra glory.

The Buses Issue (CONT)

Netflix

However, later, an additional bus shows up. It's the exact same one as the first one: passengers and all. They even come off in the same order!

Maybe this was a glitch in the Matrix?

7. 'Bloodline's' Rubber Gun

Netflix

There's a scene in the episode "Part 12" where someone is trying to get information out of another character.

While torturing him, he brings the butt of his gun down on his captive's face... only to have it bend because it's a rubber gun.

8. The Broken Laptop

Netflix

There's a scene in House Of Cards where a character really doesn't like what he's being shown on his laptop, so he splashes some water up against it.

Like, a cup's worth.

The Broken Laptop (CONT)

Netflix

Uh-Oh! Tv trope time! The laptop freaks out, breaking down after getting hit by a little bit of water.

In fact, the actor even timed the water splash with the laptop freezing. Jeez, guys.

9. Piper's Old Tattoo

Netflix

This one is from Orange Is The New Black.

In the first season, Piper used to have a brightly colored fish tattoo on the back of her neck. After Season 2, the writers apparently forgot about it.

10. The Sugar Dispenser Prop

Netflix

There's a scene in Daredevil where Matt Murdoch is talking to a priest, and the priest goes to put some sugar in his latte.

No one told him it was a prop, so he tries and fails to put sugar in.

11. Going in or out?

Netflix

There's a scene in Jessica Jones where the titular character is trying to get into a locked door.

But wait a minute, the wording is on the outside of the door, which means she's already inside.

12. Narcos' Photocopier

Netflix

There's a scene in Narcos where Pablo Escobar arrives in Columbia and he has his passport scanned.

It's actually a modern-day photocopier, and you can even see the paper used to cover the touch-screen!
