Former McDonald’s Employee Goes Viral After Adding An Extra Nugget To Every Box

Remember that Gandhi quote that's like "Be the change you want to see in the world?" While the Greta Thunbergs of the earth are carrying the heavy load of the pressing issues (you know, like mass extinction), the majority of us are out here doing God's work in the only small ways that we know how.

Whether you're helping an old lady across the street or letting your boyfriend have the last pizza slice even though he totally had more slices than you, your small acts of bravery will eventually amount to positive change.

Actual Canadian Hero Cody Bondarchuk is saving society one chicken nugget at a time.

On Saturday, November 16th, Bondarchuk tweeted out a shocking confession: during his almost three-year employment at McDonald's, he snuck one extra Chicken McNugget into every single 10 pack of McNuggets. Every. Single. One.

Naturally, he has since been dubbed 'The Robin Hood of Nuggets'

Almost a million people have liked this tweet, and honestly, I can see why. Imagine getting back into your car after picking up your ten pack of nuggets to find not the ten you paid for, but eleven. I don't mean to be "dramatic," but it would rock my world and change my life.

Bondarchuk's heroism has not gone unnoticed.

The entire Twitterverse has placed him on a pedestal of bravery and generosity. Think of how much better the world would be if we were all like Cody, taking chances and putting ourselves in danger simply to feed the mouth of another.

I'm pretty sure the bible verse Ronald 22.12 goes something like "Then, the Lord giveth him an extra Chicken McNugget and said 'Take, Eat, this is...um...probably chicken, we think."

The wildest part is how darn RISKY this long con was.

One nugget one time is one thing, but an extra nugget every single order for three years is truly the kind of generosity we should be striving towards here.

Not all heroes wear capes.

Sometimes, they wear those McDonald's visors and black aprons that will forever smell like fry grease, no matter how many times you wash them.
