'The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki Has Become A Father For The First Time

"We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours."

"So happy to announce that we are having a baby! There couldn’t be a better blessing in the world for us and we are over the moon happy. We appreciate as much privacy in this time as we are celebrating with close friends and family, and we are happy to share the news with you," she wrote on her Instagram.

“I get a little bored looking exactly the same way for 9 and a half months every year playing Leonard,” he said on an episode of The Talk.

“So we wrapped and I threw some blue in my hair, then I got superstitious that I was manifesting a boy, when I kind of prefer a girl.”

“So, I painted my nails pink to try to even out the energy there,” he said, but emphasized that obviously the only thing that really mattered to him was the health of his child.

They revealed a few months ago that they would be having a baby boy, after sharing a few pictures of the two of them covered in blue paint.

"A day I'll never forget," Johnny wrote alongside this picture.

Alaina wrote, "I can not wait to raise a baby boy with my love. He will follow in his fathers footsteps of being a generous, loving, chivalrous fellow."

"Avery’s comin into this world so loved, and with some hott aunties," Alaina wrote on her Instagram alongside this picture.

"With full and grateful hearts we welcome our son into this world. Thank you for all your love and support," both Johnny and Alaina wrote on Instagram alongside this picture.

Melissa Rauch, who played Bernadette on Big Bang, left a chain of heart emojis, while Kate MiCucci, who played Raj's brief love interest Lucy, left a message of "Congratulations!!!"

"Mazel Tov, my friend!!" he wrote in congratulations.

Michael Fishman, who played DJ Connor on Roseanne with Johnny, also wrote, "Congratulations!"

"OMG! Big congratulations! I'm SOOOOOOO happy for you!!!!" wrote one fan.

"So happy for you!! Congratulations!! Yay!!" shared another.

We're all so happy for Johnny and Alaina, and obviously little Avery too!
