'Game Of Thrones' Star Shares Story Of Angry Fan Who Wanted To Punch Him

It seems that TV watchers have a hard time distinguishing between the world that the magic box delivers to their living room and real life.

I'm not judging, I'm still waiting for the day when Dr. Who picks me up in his TARDIS and we can go on adventures through time and space!

Admit it: before you even saw the thumbnail, you knew it was going to be a Lannister.

Everyone in the world wants to punch Lannisters in the face (save for probably Tyrion).

Especially the Lannister children. Joffrey and Tommen were some of the most annoying/frustrating characters to watch.

But in real life, they're just actors playing a role.

HBO

Playing a role a little too well, because there was actually a person who wanted to punch Dean-Charles Chapman (the kid who plays Tommen) in his face.

Because apparently people forget these actors are real people.

Here's Dean-Charles Chapman's version of the story:

The young actor told Variety that someone actually came up to him and said:

"I really hate you. I want to punch you in the face."

He continues: "And my mates were like, ‘Whoa whoa whoa'."

I think the moral of the story is...

We all need to take entertainment a little less seriously.

Now if you'll excuse me, I think I just heard some little kid say Kylo Ren was better than Darth Vader.

I, obviously, need to scream in Their face.
