Yes, it seems that something on TLC is finally getting some backlash. It's like, we've never heard of anyone complaining about anything that's on TLC, and frankly I think it's about time that someone said something about the way they exploit people that are different than us.

For years they have showcased things that people either don't see much of in their daily lives, or, don't want to see those things but won't mind watching a show about it.
Their newest show is about couples, and in this case, people are getting really upset about the show and what it promotes and will display.
The new TLC show that showcases the love between people who are of two very different weights. There tends to be a large disparity of weight between the people.
While the network might have thought it would have been a good idea for them to make this show...
The show is not receiving hate because it's showing overweight people, but that's not it at all.
It's actually the title that has people really upset (as the word hot is clearly meant for only one person), and the idea of "mixed-weight" people.
