Fans Celebrate David Bowie On What Would Have Been His 73rd Birthday

There are very few figures in popular culture that are as iconic and legendary as David Bowie. The fabric of our culture really felt it when, in 2016, David Bowie passed away at the age of 69.

January 8th would have been Bowie's 73rd birthday, and fans of the artist took to Twitter to celebrate.

"My forever life inspiration would have been 73 today," one tweet read.

"Bowie’s music is the soundtrack to so many ecstatic memories for me. The world is brighter for having known him," shared one fan.

"Fun fact: As a teen I used to pray to have a husband like David Bowie."
