“Those shows mess up kids,” she added, allegedly referencing the MTV show.

Alexis was very open on social media about her journey to sobriety.

Back in 2019, she shared a picture with her father, showing the difference that two years had made.

Earlier in 2019, she tweeted about how getting sober was changing her for the better.

Tributes from friends and fans of the show have been pouring in for Alexis.

"My heart is broken that the world lost such an interesting, funny and honest soul at 23," one friend wrote.

Others emphasized how good she was to people.

"My heart is so sad.... " they wrote.

Another friend described her as being so "fun and sweet."

"It's really devastating that a person can be here one day and the very next they are gone. It's a terrible pain to lose a person and it makes me think how very lucky we are to have the ones we love in our lives," they added in a second tweet.

RIP.
