Burger King Has Offered Prince Harry A Job: 'The Crown Will Suit You Perfectly'

Everyone needs to start somewhere!

Many of us can relate to our first (or second, or third) jobs being retail, customer service, or food related. The idea of a teen getting their first job at a fast food place is ubiquitous, and for good reason — they're willing to hire and train those with little experience.

That's why it almost makes sense that in wake of Prince Harry (and his wife, Meghan Markle) stepping back from the royal family, they might turn to the fast food industry for employment.

After all, in their announcement post detailing the decision to step back and move to Canada, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also explained that they were striving to become financially independent.

Burger King immediately rolled out a new ad campaign to offer a new job to Prince Harry.

One ad stated "Dear Dukes, if you're looking for a job, we have a new crown for you."

You gotta admit, upgrading from a Prince to a King must be pretty tempting!

A longer ad continues, "We found out that the Prince and the Duchess decided to give up their roles in the royal family and will work to become financially independent."

"So, we have a proposition for you: do as thousands of people and take your first steps in the world of work with us," the ad continued.

"You know that the crown will suit you perfectly."

"Also, after so many years of living as dukes, it's time to start eating like kings," the ad finishes.

The Burger King twitter account has also joined in, tweeting "you always have a job in our kingdom" with a link to the application page of their website.

They then got even more direct.

Their next tweet read "@ harry, this royal family offers part-time positions."

That's nice! They're leaving some room open in Harry's schedule to hang out with his son.

Other brand twitters got in on it too.

Budweiser Canada suggested that perhaps Harry would prefer to be second-in-line for the King of Beers, which isn't too bad of an offer either.

It's all in good fun, but can you imagine going to Burger King and getting served by a Prince?

I'm sure Harry would be great in the position if he decided he wanted it. After all, who knows better about having it your way than him?
