'Bachelorette' Contestant Tyler Gwozdz Dead At 29

Contestant on the most recent season of The Bachelorette Tyler Gwozdz has died at the age of 29, TMZ has confirmed.

Tyler was a contestant on season 15 of 'The Bachelorette.'

Tyler was competing for Hannah Brown's hand in marriage, but mysteriously left after three weeks on the show and was removed without being officially eliminated. At the time, Hannah Brown reported that Tyler "had to leave."

The 'Bachelor' producers released a statement regarding Tyler's death.

"Tyler Gwozdz, 29, former “Bachelorette” Season 15 contestant (Hannah Brown), has passed away. The eldest of five, Tyler was a loving son and friend to many," the statement began.

"Tyler had an adventurous spirit and a zest for life."

"A successful entrepreneur, Gwozdz was planning on becoming a psychologist, working to obtain his PhD," they wrote.

"We are heartbroken to hear the tragic news of Tyler’s passing today."

Reports that Tyler had been hospitalized 'for at least a week' after a suspected overdose surfaced on January 23rd.

TMZ reported that the Boca Raton police had responded to a call from a woman who suspected Tyler had overdosed in a locked bathroom.

Although Tyler was transported to a hospital quickly, TMZ has reported that after a week of treatment, Tyler had passed away.

Tyler was 29.
