Kobe Bryant's Jerseys Will Remain Illuminated All Night During Grammy Awards

After the tragic death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant, as well as seven other passengers on the same helicopter flight earlier today, the Grammy Awards have made it a priority to pay tribute to the Lakers legend.

Before the show even began, celebs were remembering Kobe on the red carpet.

Nick Jonas' wife and actress Priyanka Chopra wrote Kobe's number 24 on her manicure.

DJ Khaled brought a Kobe 1996 t-shirt with him which he carried alongside his all black tux.

Red carpet interviews inevitably focused on the tragedy that had taken place earlier that day.

18-year-old Billie Eilish talks about her disbelief at the news of his death.

Lizzo opened the show by dedicating her performance to the NBA legend.

Grammys host Alicia Keys then gave a touching speech dedicated to Kobe and his daughter, Gianna.

BOYZ II Men then joined Alicia on stage for a beautiful A capella performance.

Alicia then pointed to Kobe's two jerseys hanging in the Staples Center, showing their illumination.

The jerseys will remain illuminated all night as a tribute to the basketball legend.

Fans are appreciating the touching tribute.

However the jerseys were just the beginning.

Lil Nas X began his performance of "Old Town Road" with Kobe's Laker jersey sitting next to him on set.

Another Kobe jersey was held up during the RUN DMC and Areosmith performance later in the night.

The Nipsey Hussle Grammy tribute was modified to include Kobe as well.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house.

However, the tributes being held inside the Staples Center couldn't compare to the vigil being held outside.

Thousands of fans showed up to grieve together.
