Waffle House Is Now Taking Reservations For A Romantic Valentine's Day Dinner

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, but instead of treating your loved one to an overpriced meal that will leave your wallet hurting and your stomachs growling, why not take them to a place where the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are totally budget-friendly?

Waffle House has got you covered, because hundreds of locations across the country are already taking reservations for a romantic, candle-lit Valentine's Day dinner.

The breakfast chain is pulling out all the stops to make the *big day* as loved-up as possible for you and that special someone.

Lights will be appropriately dimmed for the occasion, and their iconic Formica tables will be covered with white cloths for some extra class.

Oh, and there will definitely be candle light because what's Valentine's Day without a lil' mood lighting?

In case you aren't a Waffle House regular, taking reservations isn't something the chain does often.

In fact, Valentine's Day is the only time you can actually reserve a table at one of the restaurants, a tradition which reportedly began back in 2008 at a location in John's Creek, Georgia.

The manager noticed an annual rush of customers coming to spend their V-Day romancing over a big plate of waffles and hash browns, so they were inspired to make the restaurant just a little more romantic.

Waffle House Valentine's Specialist Jessica Kinskey said Valetine's Day "is about spending time with the one you love at a place you love."

"And it's even better when you can do that without spending a lot of money," she explained in a press release.
