Model Shuts Down Twitter Troll Who Used Her Photo For Body-Shaming Meme

Oh, the things that happen on Twitter.

Sometimes, it's a magical place of memes and jokes. Sometimes, it's a political battleground. And sometimes? It's a place where unwanted opinions get dunked on so hard that they make headlines.

Meet Thickleeyonce Legobane.

She's a plus size model, photographer, brand owner (she owns the clothing line Lee Bex), and YouTuber.

Basically, she does it all, and she does it well. Isn't she the cutest effing person you've ever seen?

She has a huge social media following.

She has over 400,000 followers on Instagram and over 100,000 on Twitter. Her brand, Lee Bex, has over 60,000.

She's incredibly successful, accomplished, and has a blossoming career dedicated to making women feel good about themselves.

She's even worked with Little Mix.

After Little Mix put out a cover just like the one above for their work, Piers Morgan attacked them for. So Thickleeyonce and her fellow models teamed up with them to re-create that image and tell anyone that they own their bodies, and no one else is allowed to tell them what to do with it.

So, of COURSE a dude on Twitter tried to use her image for clout.

Thickleeyonce is a woman at the top of her game, so it just makes a sad amount of sense that a dude would take her success and try to capitalize off of it.

It didn't work.

It didn't take long for Twitter to band together and roast this guy.

Roxie knew what was about to happen.

Honestly, Mars isn't far enough. That man got sent to Jupiter and Jupiter booted him right back again.

Please prepare for clapbacks that are so good, they'll soothe your anger at his audacity.

Of course, we can't prove women serve him dust, but...we sure can read jokes that imply that, can't we?

Judging by the amount of comments like this one, he probably had a hard time finding a date for a while.

This is a GREAT point.

If you're into a type of person, that's fine! That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is pitting women against each other, especially when you're only doing it for follows on Twitter.

She speaks for us all.

Honestly, she speaks for thick women and thin women, let's be real.

If you're going to try and pit women against each other like that, you gotta live with the consequences!

Some straight-up called his hypocrisy out.

How is a man who called the same model using the same picture girlfriend goals suddenly using her like that?

Some people on Twitter will truly do anything for clout. Oof.

In the midst of the Twitter replies, Thickleeyonce responded...

Her first reaction was to just reply to his tweet, but that wasn't nearly the roasting she was looking to give him.

So she decided to quote tweet him, and that's where things went viral.

She low-key came for his throat.

The quote tweet popped off even more than her reply. It is brilliant in its simplicity, tbh. She didn't have to say much to shut him right down and stand up for herself at the same time.

Her clapback was so good that major celebrities were liking it.

Like Ariana Grande level big.

Thickleeyonce's mentions were crazy for days, but she managed to pick up on some of the celebrities liking her tweet. A like from Ariana must have felt amazing.

And, of course, the queen of film herself:

Ava Freakin' DuVernay liked her tweet.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but that means Thickleeyonce owns Twitter now, right? Like a like from Ava is a blessing of ownership, right? I'm right.

In the end, Thickleeyonce won that throwdown.

She has her career, her brand, and she's constantly working at promoting body positivity. Even though she was used as a meme, she rose above that kind of bullying and came out victorious on the other side.

We. Stan.
