Clever Zero-Waste Shower Gel And Shampoo Bottles Are Completely Made Of Soap

Y'all, I am not going to lie to you. We use a loooooooot of plastic. Look around your kitchen. Think about the last item you just bought. Take a look at your recycling and garbage next time it's garbage day. It's just really difficult to avoid plastic. The United States, alone, produces over 35 million tonnes of plastic waste every year.

And even though we are able to recycle many plastic products, not all plastics are recyclable.

Product designer Jonna Breitenhuber is trying to help curb that problem.

She's created a product called SOAPBOTTLE, and the product's description is as simple and minimal as its name.

The shower gel and shampoo bottles are also made out of soap and are made to be used even after the product inside has been used up.

You're basically getting two products in one!

You can use each bottle as soap or you can crush it up and use it as detergent.

So, three products in one?

According to My Modern Met, each bottle is made with natural ingredients and come in a wide range of colors and scents.

I would be excited about using the rose soap after using up the raspberry shower gel!

It seems that this product is in its prototype phase at the moment, but many people are patiently awaiting its arrival commercially!

Hopefully we can look forward to many more zero-waste alternatives out there so we can consume less plastic and take great care of our planet for generations to come.
