Valentine's Day can be a real drag. Watching your coworkers get deliveries of flowers and chocolates while you hate-scroll through your ex's feed is not a good time.
But don't fret. Burger King is here to help you eat your feelings with some good ol' comfort food. This February 14, you can get a free Whopper if you bring in a picture of your ex.
It's the new Harley Quinn flick in which the badass criminal has to fight for survival following a breakup with her boyfriend, the Joker. (Ugh, exes, amirite?)
The good people at Burger King will have "breakup boxes" at select locations in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston where you can drop off a printed pic of your ex. In exchange, you'll receive a free Whopper.
If you're in New York City and just can't bear to unearth a photo of the offending past lover, you can bring in a letter, a stuffed animal, or an article of clothing related to your ex (or your relationship) and get your free burger.
Maybe you don't live near one of the "breakup boxes," or maybe you're too embarrassed to show a picture of your ex (it's OK, we all have one of those). No worries. You can do a quiz in the Burger King app and if you answer four questions correctly, you'll get a coupon for a $3 Whopper.
This could just be the best thing to come out of your relationship.
