Deleted 'Frozen 2' Scene Answers Mystery Behind Anna And Elsa's Parents

After all these months of waiting, the mystery, the intrigue, the questions posed around the water cooler, we finally get some answers.

Well, Disney, which of my many private fan theories will you be proving correct today?

What do you mean you haven't been reading my personal Frozen blog? Yeah, right!

"Frozen 2" was a great follow up to the first "Frozen".

But one thing that wasn't addressed from the first movie was that whole "not telling Anna about Elsa's powers" thing.

We never really knew why Elsa was kept apart from Anna for so long.

It's actually kind of messed up, and made it look like they didn't trust Anna.

Disney

With all the scenes that had to do with King Agnarr and Queen Iduna in the sequel, you think they would have addressed that bit.

Well, they did in a deleted scene.

In the scene, which was presented by directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, Elsa shows Anna a memory of her parents deciding to let Anna know about Elsa's powers.

To show Anna that yes, her parents did trust her.

Had they not died on that shipwreck, maybe the two sister's lives would have been different.

The deleted scene is below if you want to check it out.

It's equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking, so don't say I didn't warn you if you end up in tears.
