Makeup Artist Goes Viral For Look That Matches Her Lashes To Her Lipstick

Y'all, this is what we're doing in 2020. The future is here, and our makeup? It's gonna get weird, but also good.

Meet Lauren B. Brown.

AKA Raggedy Royal to the internet.

She's a makeup artist, influencer, and a visionary. Why? Because she's doing what needs to be done in the beauty industry: innovating, baby. Innovating.

She blew up Twitter recently.

You can see why. Her makeup looks are killer.

She told Allure how she did each look. For these lashes, she used Coloured Raine liquid lipsticks in Berri Raine and Roulette, as well as the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Vol. 1 Palette.

Blue is so IN now.

This look single-handedly saved blue's reputation as a color in makeup. For this look, she used Coloured Raine Liquid Lipstick in Royal and Karity Liquid Lipstick in 99 Problems. The eyeshadow came from the Anastasia Pro Pigment Vol. 2 Palette.

Orange you glad you saw this makeup look?

I'm not apologizing for that joke. Thank you.

To become an orange goddess, Lauren used Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in A-Go-Go and a shade from the Anastasia Pro Pigment Vol. 3 palette.

And finally...

This is one hell of a grand finale. For this look, she kept her lips neutral to compliment the bright rainbow colors on her eyes, and boy does it slap.

Here's how you do it!

Buying colored lashes is absolutely an option, for the record. But if you need a DIY solution, try this!

Simply coat your lashes in your liquid lipstick of choice, then brush on a coordinating eyeshadow color. Boom, done.

She also posted a full tutorial on YouTube.

Yes, it's for the rainbow lashes. Thank goodness. Of all of the lashes that she posted, these were the ones I just had to see created step-by-step.

It's a little messy.

To do the rainbow look, she used a more neutral lip color to help the colors pop.

Then, she painted on a rainbow of liquid lipsticks. Lastly, she used a generous amount of eyeshadow to bring it all home.

Oh, and there's one last step:

In order to help the fake lashes blend with her natural lashes, Lauren paints her own lashes with a liquid lipstick, then powders them with the eyeshadow, too.

Be careful with some of those pigments around the eyes — they're not always eye-safe, even if they're sold in an eyeshadow palette.

Don't expect a lash line from her anytime soon, though.

How frickin' amazing is she? When a fan asked if her lash line was going to drop soon, Lauren replied that it's more important to her to help teach others than anything else.

She got her inspiration from makeup artist Isabelle De Vries

And you can clearly see why! Isabelle has her own line of colored lashes called the Lux Lash Collection. She has lashes in red, green, purple, pink, beige — you name it, she has it.

Most of their lashes are sold out right now.

But they're all available for pre-order!

The popularity of Lauren's lash hack is creating a total fervour around colored lashes, so shop around to see if you can find some for yourself!

Other people piled in with their own looks.

Look at those red lashes!

People went crazy for Lauren's look on Twitter. Her initial tweet has tens of thousands of likes and retweets, and hundreds of replies from talented makeup artists.

You have to see Lauren's other looks, too.
