Seven-Year-Old Makes Her Own 'Matilda'-Inspired Costume That Got The Cast's Attention

I think most '90s kids can all remember the moment when they watched Matilda for the first time. Maybe it was at home with a rented VHS tape from Blockbuster. Or maybe, you were lucky enough to see it in theaters with your friends.

Even though the years have passed since the movie was released, I'm sure the terror of Miss. Trunchbull has stayed with you. I know it has for me.

If you grew up in the '90s, chances are that you watched the beloved classic "Matilda".

Matilda was based on the book with the same name by author Roald Dahl. The 1996 movie adaptation featured Mara Wilson as the young heroine with magic powers who loved to read.
