Golden Retriever Puppy Is A New 'Unicorn' Dog, Thanks To Ear On Top Of Her Head

This isn't the first 'unicorn' dog to go viral, but I think we can all agree that the world has more than enough space for as many magical creatures as possible.

Obviously, to be a unicorn, one must have a single horn-like appendage somewhere about the center of the forehead. It doesn't have to be an actual horn as long as it's really damn cute.

And Rae the golden retriever puppy is pretty damn cute.

Not that all puppies aren't cute, but you may have noticed something. Not only does Rae have only one ear, but it's almost dead center on top of her head.

I kind of love how it looks like a modern hairdo when sitting flat.

She's got some volume up top, with nicely short sides. Very on trend.

Of course, to answer the obvious question first: yes, Rae can hear fine.

She lost her ear at birth when her mom was a little too rough.

Then to everyone's surprise, the remaining ear has slowly shifted onto the top of her head as she's grown.

I request a video of her head out a car window.

I think we all need to see that ear flapping away majestically in the wind. And then we need to have it as a looping gif to watch when we need to smile.

Rae's still a baby, so be sure to follow her on Instagram @goldenunicornrae to see all of her adventures as she grows up!
