Vanessa Hudgens found herself in some hot water Tuesday afternoon on Instagram Live when she was asked how she felt about self-isolation lasting through the summer as a method of dealing with and stopping the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19.

On a live-stream, Vanessa responded by saying, "Until July sounds like a bunch of [BS]."
“I’m sorry, but like, it’s a virus, I get it, like, I respect it, but at the same time..." Vanessa continued. "Even if everybody gets it, like..."
"Yeah, people are going to die, which is terrible, but like... inevitable?"

Social media was immediately filled with backlash for Vanessa's "heartless" comments.
