Rae Batchelor 18 Mar 2020

Brad Paisley is a hero to a lot of people in Nashville right now!

With everything going on surrounding the coronavirus, a lot of people are struggling to stock up on food while in self-isolation or while being unable to work. This is especially true for those in vulnerable demographics like the elderly, who are at the highest risk of the virus.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

Brad Paisley's store, The Store, is looking to fix both of these problems at once.

The Store on its own is already an incredibly charitable institution: Brad and his wife, in partnership with Belmont University, opened it as a grocery store that provides all food for free for those who are in need.

Brad then announced they would be delivering free groceries to the elderly.

"We’re mobilizing a group of volunteers to deliver groceries — one week’s groceries — to elderly people who should not be out shopping on their own in these times," he revealed.
