8+ Celebs Who Live By Awful Diets

In order to look their best, celebs have gone to some pretty weird lengths.

This includes seven-week cleanses and even the baby food diet (celebs like Reese Witherspoon and Lady Gaga swear by it).

Here are 10+ celebs who had awful diets.

1. Gwyneth Paltrow

In addition to vagina steaming and other wacky wellness trends displayed on her Netflix show, The Goop Lab, the actress has also tried cleanses.

"I can't be on a cleanse all the time...I did one for seven weeks last year and it was awful," she told The Edit in 2017.

This next one isn't a diet per say, but the actress also swears by oil-pulling.

"Oil pulling is when you swish coconut oil around [in your mouth] for 20 minutes, and it's supposed to be great for oral health and making your teeth white. It's supposed to clear up your skin, as well," she said.

2. Beyoncé

The singer has more of a connection to lemons than just her "Lemonade" album.

She swears by a "Master Cleanse," which involves replacing all meals with a concoction made from lemon juice, water, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper.

Delicious?

3. Alicia Silverstone

While there's nothing wrong with the Clueless star living a vegan lifestyle, some fans have taken issue with her eight-year-old son, Bear, also following the strict diet.

4. Snooki

The Jersey Shore alum can accredit some of her incredible weight loss to Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet.

Yes, really.

“I eat six cookies a day and then I have like chicken for dinner, or fish,” Snooki explained.

5. Christina Aguilera

The singer reportedly follows the 7-day color diet, created by Jessica Weisel Courtney and Mindy Weisel.

It involves eating a different color of food for each day of the week.

6. Shailene Woodley

The actress is known for her quirky ways: she makes her own toothpaste and has been known to smell bad on occasion.

Things with her diet aren't that normal either...

Get this: she eats clay!

It's part of her detoxification diet, she told David Letterman.

"Clay binds to other materials in your body and helps your body excrete those materials that aren't necessarily the best for you."

7. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott

In order to eat healthier, the 90210 alum's husband began making salads... gummy bear salads, that is.

"My husband has this gummy bear salad that he makes," Spelling told Delish.

"He mixes gummy bears with dressing, and it's awesome, so that's probably where they came up with the idea."

We don't think this is what the doctor had in mind when he said to "eat healthier"...

8. Kylie Jenner

At one point, the majority of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters have promoted skinny teas on their Instagrams as a way to lose weight.

Trouble is, these teas are widely controversial.

In addition to claims that they're bogus, they've been said to be dangerous due to their laxative effect.

Some even say that they perpetuate diet culture.

9. Reese Witherspoon

She's known for being one of Hollywood's most normal celebs, but when Reese wants to drop a few pounds quick, she reverts to her days as a baby by eating baby food...

This means replacing breakfast and lunch with around 14 jars of baby food since they're low in calories (between 25 and 75 each).

She's not the only celeb to do so.

Lady Gaga and Gwyneth Paltrow are fans as well.

10. Kim Kardashian

Speaking of lemonade, the reality star swears by charcoal lemonade in order to feel "cleansed and energized throughout the day."
