10+ Celeb Conspiracy Theories

Let's be real. Even though 9 times out of 10 conspiracy theories seem like complete malarkey, they're still super entertaining to read about.

I can't even tell you how many times I've gotten sucked down the rabbit hole of outrageous conspiracy theories, and now, here's your chance to do the same:

1. Katy Perry is actually JonBenet Ramsey.

This one is pretty absurd. Not gonna lie.

Some speculate that the murder of JonBenet Ramsey back in 1996 never actually happened and that JonBenet grew up to become the pop star we're all familiar with, Katy Perry.

The evidence is loose, needless to say.

They did have similar facial features, however, they were born six years apart. So it doesn't exactly add up!

2. Beyoncé faked her pregnancy to hide fertility issues.

There is a group of people out there who believe that Beyoncé's 2011 pregnancy, with Blue Ivy, was entirely faked.

They believe she used prosthetic baby bumps, loose clothing, and trick photography, and that a surrogate actually delivered the baby.

The motive was allegedly to conceal her fertility issues.

It seems pretty far fetched to me!

I'm sure Beyoncé would have a LOT to say on the matter.

3. Marisa Tomei's Oscar was a mistake.

It is believed that Marisa Tomei's shocking Oscar-winning was actually a mistake made by the presenter, Jack Palance.

He was allegedly so drunk that he misread the name, and everybody just ran with it instead of correcting him.

4. Lorde is actually in her 40s.

There is zero proof to back this theory up. But some people think that Lorde not only looks older than she is, but has the emotional maturity of a 40-something-year-old woman.

She allegedly faked her age as a marketing tactic to sell her music.

5. Tupac is alive.

I'm sure you've all heard of this one.

Rumor has it that Tupac's death was made up, to help the rapper escape from superstardom and secretly move to Cuba.

Those responsible for his death were never found.

Suge Knight was never hit, Tupac apparently always wore a bulletproof vest, and the man who cremated him retired immediately afterward.

Even after all this time, people still believe it to this day.

People often post photos of apparent sightings of the late rapper.

It will never end.

6. Avril Lavigne was replaced by a body double.

Remember how Avril Lavigne took a hiatus from music in 2004?

Well, there are some folks who believe she actually died, and that the Avril we know now is actually just a look-a-like.

Lavigne, of course, wasn't bothered by this, and obviously said the rumor is false.

"On one hand, everyone is like, 'Oh my god, you look the same,' and on the other hand people are like, 'Oh my god, she died.'" she said.

But then again... isn't that exactly what a body double WOULD say?

Obviously this is super far-fetched, but sometimes it's tons of fun to go down the rabbit hole that is the internet.

7. Paul McCartney is dead.

There is a theory that suggests Paul McCartney was killed in a car accident back in 1967, and was replaced by a look-a-like in order to maintain The Beatles' success.

There has been plenty of proof provided by fans over the years, such as Playing "Revolution 9" backward. But nonetheless, it definitely seems like a reach.

8. Jay-Z is the King of the Illuminati.

Speculation has been running wild for decades about the existence of the Illuminati and the influence they hold in Hollywood.

Not only is Jay-Z suspected to be a member of the secret society, but fans believe that he is their king.

9. Lady Gaga is the Goddess of Satan.

Lady Gaga has always carried with her an air of mystery. But when it was announced that she would be performing at the 2016 Superbowl Halftime Show, the internet started buzzing.

The much-reviled "political pundit" Alex Jones accused her of enacting a sacred Illuminati ritual, designed to subliminally brainwash Americans.

10. Britney Spears was a secret agent for the Bush Administration.

According to a number of sources around the internet, the pop star supposedly was a deep-cover agent for former President George W. Bush.

Yes, you unfortunately did read that right.

Rumor has it that Britney was tasked with distracting the youth masses through her music and questionable antics.

11. The Beatles never existed.

We've all heard the stories about how "Paul is Dead". But one website takes things a step further by asserting that the entire band never existed.

Supposedly, The Beatles as we came to know them, was an amalgamation of robots, look-a-likes, and "synthetic beings".

12. Daniel Radcliffe is a time traveler.

This is probably one of the funniest conspiracy theories that exists in Hollywood. But there are entire subreddits dedicated to proving that Daniel Radcliffe is, in fact, a time traveler.

There are a ton of old photographs that share a remarkable and uncanny likeness to the star.

All of Twitter is obsessed with this concept, which is, honestly, just hilarious.

Considering what we saw Harry Potter do in Prizoner of Azkaban, time travel may not be off the table.

13. Michael Jackson is alive.

Ever since the star's controversial passing due to medical negligence, fans around the world refuse to believe that The King of Pop has left the earth.

Many Jackson sightings have popped up over the years, but nothing substantial.

14. Kurt Cobain is still alive.

There have been so many wild conspiracy theories surrounding the sad passing of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain.

Some claim Kurt faked his own death.

Obviously, a lot of people don't believe in this particular theory, like the family that he left behind.

But you can't stop the internet from theorizing.
