Simon Pegg And Nick Frost Recreate 'Shaun Of The Dead' Scene With New, Quarantine-Approved Plans

If you've seen Shaun of The Dead, we bet you had a pretty good idea of what your plan should be during the current pandemic we're in.

Think again.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

You might recall, the original plan in the film for surviving a zombie apocalypse did not contain much social distance.

"Take car. Go to mum's. Kill Phil, grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?" Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's characters eventually settle on.

In a new video, they've teamed up again, and come to a much different conclusion.

"If you can, stay at home, have a cup of tea, and wait for all this to blow over," Pegg says.

"Above all, don't be a [expletive] about things. We're all in this together. Don't be selfish, look after each other, give someone a call if you think they might be lonely."

Obviously, it ends on a heartwarming note.

“Don’t panic!” the screen reads. “We can beat the apocalypse . . . together. Love from Simon and Nick.”

The pair even have a little bit of funny commentary on some of the jokes in the original film, but I won't spoil them for you here. Check it out for yourself!
